Doc Dude Dad

Dude, are you talking about water again?

Some biter tonic, a warm glow spurs from the horizon and I dwell. If I could be like water I would. To seep into the dark places and nourishing the plants and fungus, gather and be a reserve for the farmer or flow into a creek onto a river then the ocean where I could rise as storm or rain and start again. Few of us embrace all the different places, pieces and parts we can play.

We cannot rise without first embracing the dark, the humility to be right place right time doesn’t make us a master finisher. Bow the head, apologise and take the passion down a notch when asked off or admonished by the ref. Humility allows us to be a ripple in the pond or a drop in the ocean but it makes the movement smooth or wave a force. Humility yields cooperation.

Without desire let’s turn to this week’s voluntary attempt to overcome unnecessary obstacles let’s play for a memory, an experience an unnecessary but natural extravagance the lifts the spirit, body and mind. May we stay healthy, feels the burn in the muscles and lift a cold beverage at the end.

Te Wero (The Challenge)

Humility… dwell low, support your teammates, ripple out on attack but collapse back like a wave on defense.

We can play together we just need to support each other.

Yo-ho, Let’s Roll
