Dude passion suffering
The morning beckons; a cricket is persisting in spite of the temperature. A bitter tonic crosses my lips with its warmth. That tonic chases the last remnants of sleep. Like many a stubborn memory, pain, anguish or boredom, time heals or time reveals. The past has reasons to remember: culture, how we shape our relationships, tradition, peer pressure from the dead; writing and books allow for distant, distinct, direct translation of thoughts from long-dead fellows.
Until suffering and passion (endurance suffering) were confused as words evolved, the old term and meaning is likely the right one people say follow your passion, and you will never work a day in your life. If you follow what you can endure suffering with or for, then it is a defining characteristic, not just work. This dude is not afraid of endurance or suffering. When I competed in swimming, I excelled at endurance; the perception of pain is used as a tool to understand if you were pushing hard enough. The other senses and coaching were subdued by the water.
We have the chance to push together today to lift the whole with short bursts, quick choices and frequent easy passes. We don’t have to endure or carry the day. We can lift each other and make another short run to cover or create space. Make the ball work hard. Easy- the reason I put the dude on a pedestal is that he was lazy: be a good lazy, the shortest pass, the smallest dare, the easiest coverage. We can out-easy the other team and possess and play together.
I can endure, I can suffer, but I choose easy, and I ran the Hustlers ragged in the wind in the 1st half last week. Endure suffering in life; find the ones and projects you are passionate about; the pain is coming regardless of your choice. On the pitch, in the voluntary attempt to overcome unnecessary obstacles, chose lazy. Be easy. No Drama (handouts like @R when the worthy adversary had a fistful of shirt and was trying to drive him off the ball); the ref took notice, and we stepped in. No retaliation, good vibes remain, tempers restored play on. Be easy + No Drama = Flow Just bloody shoot is fine advice in the end, unless a cutback for another assist that sounds easy.
Te Wero Be Easy.
Less passion, endure no suffering choose lazy, (please cover our backs in the midfield but you get me).
Alright will is on Beverages anyone need a lift?
