Doc Dude Dad

Dude, where is that fine journey lead?

The morning is warm and wet. Embers flickered and held flame from last evening. I stoked the fire. The conditions did not warrant this agitation or even more heat but this dude likes a fire with his bitter tonic.

As we traverse the shining new road over the ancient mountain we should be grateful that we can band together hold different values and work toward public good. The 8 years since the gorge was closed feel like a different time. We can lift up traditions like Matariki and remember all those who gifted us this era and how we steward it for the next eon. The moments are a blur even time a construct to help us settle accounts, traverse the sky and get to the voluntary attempt to overcome unnecessary obstacles with enough players to field a line up it is just a tool.

When the old road closed, I was different, I was only a plunderer recruit, I was not a fellow of the Australasian College, none of my children drove and one was still in diapers. In those short years I have become more with steady small changes. Writing down tasks, goals and timelines to get things done many for others. Just the last few years I have been inspired to balance my spirit and you lot are the suffering recipients.

This day let us blur the perception of time so that we can only remember moments. Easy in the poor conditions, be like the water rippling out contracting back and crashing when called for. No drama the adversary is a worthy one and they are willing to go hard and then raise a cold beverage. Pity any appointed overlord of this fine venture for the conditions will sloppy and the play possibly the same. Just remember we are brought together for the moments of effortful presence the flow state shrinks the time and we can wish the game was longer.

Let’s Play for a good time, for our time, for all time, this time.

Yo-ho Lest Roll.
